Master's in Oral Biology (Academic Track) – International Students
2026-07-09Admission Requirements
1. *Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery* from Egypt or an equivalent recognized qualification.
2. *Have completed the one-year internship* or have acquired professional practice and training experience in medical centers or government hospitals.
3. *Hold a minimum overall grade of Good* in the bachelor’s degree, or *Pass*, provided that the applicant has obtained a Postgraduate Diploma.
4. *Submit all required documents* addressed to the Dean of the Faculty within the application period specified in the Faculty’s regulations.
5. *Comply with the regulations and rules* governing international students as set forth by the University’s International Students Administration.
Target Group:
International dentists holding a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from Egyptian universities or an equivalent degree recognized by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities.
Program Duration
Academic Track: 3 years + up to 2 extension years
Application Period
February and March of each year.
Credit Hours:
Academic Track: 70 credit hours (50 coursework credit hours + 20 thesis credit hours)
Program Advantages

5- Develop hands-on laboratory experience in cell culture techniques and confocal microscopy using advanced research facilities.
6- Enhance research capabilities through a master's thesis that fosters analytical thinking, critical evaluation, and evidence-based practice.
Graduate Competencies:
Graduates will acquire advanced knowledge of the biology of oral and dental tissues through an integrated study of dental anatomy and physiology, oral histology, and embryology. The program equips graduates with a comprehensive understanding of the structure, development, and function of oral tissues and dental anatomy while emphasizing the relationship between microscopic characteristics, developmental processes, and their clinical relevance. Through the completion of a research thesis, graduates will strengthen their scientific research capabilities, analytical and critical thinking skills, and proficiency in evidence-based practice.
