The Ministers of Higher Education and Education discuss the integration of the pre-university and university education systems

Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Minister of Education and Technical Education, Dr. Tarek Shawky, held a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education; To discuss a number of common issues, including the integration of the student's educational journey from the first stage of the primary education ladder until his graduation, whether from the university academic, university technological or technical path, at the level of curricula, teaching methods, measurement and evaluation mechanisms, and linking the modern basic education system with new specializations and a modernization system Curricula developed by the various sectors committees of the Supreme Council of Universities.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said that there is full coordination with Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, with regard to the Egyptian education system, especially with regard to teaching skills for the twenty-first century for different age groups in schools and universities, and paying attention to the system of discovering talented and talented people and caring for them in the various stages of education through the Care Fund. Innovators and talents, as is the role that the Egyptian Knowledge Bank plays in caring for students and graduates of Egyptian universities, through the collection of periodicals, books, databases and solutions that are provided to researchers, students, teachers and professionals that enable them to have complete and adequate access to global sources of knowledge in science, technology, medicine and science Social and Human Sciences, through the Egyptian Knowledge Bank platform.

For his part, Minister of Education and Technical Education, Dr. Tariq Shawky said that the school teacher or the teacher is one of the most important pillars of the education system, and therefore there is full coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education regarding raising the skill and professional level of the teacher, for the first time courses and curricula are added in colleges of education in universities ; To qualify students of colleges of education to work as teachers in all stages of pre-university education in accordance with the latest international educational systems and standards, and the number of hours of practical dose for training students of colleges of education in the schools of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in its various stages increased.

The meeting discussed the scope of services provided by the Knowledge Bank to the academic community in Egypt and to other sectors that provide training support. To help Egyptian researchers publish articles in all disciplines with editorial support in international journals, as well as the programs and training courses provided by the Knowledge Bank to raise the level of faculty members ’capabilities in order to obtain a graduate commensurate with the needs of the labor market in Egypt and abroad, which covers the Faculties of Engineering, Medicine and Pharmacy And dentistry and colleges of education to graduate qualified faculty and teachers who teach with the latest technologies and international standards in education.
