Opening of the administrative cadres training and rehabilitation project at Ain Shams University

Within the framework of Ain Shams University's interest in qualifying the university’s administrative cadres and the belief of the university’s senior leadership in the importance of developing the capabilities and skills of the university’s administrators to achieve the principles of total quality and to provide all services according to internationally recognized standards.

Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, inaugurated a project for training and qualifying administrative cadres at Ain Shams University. It was held under the patronage and support of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, in the presence of Ambassador Khaled Rady, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies.

The Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University was assigned to develop a concept of the project after studying the actual training needs of the administrators, and today the implementation of the project began with the Etiquette and Protocol training program that was held at the headquarters of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the heads and directors of the main offices at Ain Shams University.

This training comes as the beginning of a series of training programs that will be organized by the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University within the project in cooperation with the Institute of Diplomatic Studies, against the background of the protocol signed between Ain Shams University and the Institute of Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A group of ambassadors delivered seminars on all issues related to etiquette and protocol; among them are His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Al-Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ambassador Nihad Seif El-Yazal, His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Anis, and finally His Excellency Ambassador Kadri Abdul-Muttalib.

The seminars dealt with various topics; Such as etiquette ceremonies in diplomacy; Etiquette is a way of life; Art of talking, communicating with others, dress code and appearance.

All seminars took place throughout the day in an interactive form between the ambassadors and the administrators of the attendees.
