Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Application Dates:

Applications for the Fall semester are open from mid-July to mid-August, and applications for the Spring semester are open from mid-December to mid-January.

36 credit hours


Program Advantages:

The program applies the latest Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies and advanced simulation techniques to improve irrigation networks and water hydraulics, addressing strategic challenges in water resource management.


Skills Acquired by Program Graduates:

Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of advanced concepts, theories, and methodologies in fluid mechanics, hydraulics, irrigation and drainage, hydrology, and water resources, as well as the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) principles in water engineering.

Demonstrate expertise in specialized areas of research or practice and knowledge of recent developments and emerging trends in water engineering.

Apply advanced mathematical and computational techniques proficiently to analyze and optimize irrigation and drainage systems, hydraulic networks, sustainable drainage systems, and pumping station systems.

Conduct data collection, analysis, and interpretation efficiently and effectively using quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Prepare and deliver technical reports, scientific papers, and presentations effectively to diverse audiences.
