Graduate Competencies:
Graduates of the program will be able to:
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of advanced concepts, theories, and methodologies in Structural Engineering, while exhibiting expertise in specialized areas of research or professional practice and keeping abreast of recent developments and emerging trends in the field.
• Solve complex structural engineering problems with a high level of technical sophistication and innovation, critically evaluate existing solutions, and propose innovative approaches.
• Apply advanced mathematical and computational techniques to analyze and optimize engineering systems.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data efficiently using both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Lead or contribute to the design, planning, organization, task delegation, project management, performance improvement, risk assessment, and decision-making processes involved in the development of complex engineering systems and components, while selecting appropriate and sustainable technologies for the construction of buildings and hydraulic structures.
