Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

• Spring Semester: From mid-December to mid-January

Program Advantages:
The program examines the urban environment as a complex socio-ecological system, integrating architectural physics with urban planning to develop resilient and sustainable cities that are well suited to hot arid climates.
Graduate Competencies:
Graduates of the program will be able to:
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of advanced concepts, theories, and methodologies in urban design and planning.
• Critically evaluate existing solutions and propose innovative approaches to urban design and planning challenges.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively using both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Integrate knowledge and methodologies from multiple disciplines to address complex urban design and planning issues.
• Demonstrate awareness of the ethical and societal implications of urban design and planning innovations while adhering to responsible and sustainable professional practices.
