Admission Requirements:

The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from one of the Egyptian universities, or an equivalent degree from an institution recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, provided that the overall grade is not less than “Good,” and the average grade in specialization courses is not less than “Very Good.” The applicant must also not have passed more than 15 years since obtaining the Bachelor’s degree.

• Scarcity of specialists in predatory mites and entomopathogenic nematodes used in biological pest control

Skills Acquired by Graduates:

• Identification and classification of harmful and beneficial mites and nematodes, assessment of their economic impact, and estimation of population density

• Mass rearing of predatory mites and insect-parasitic nematodes for use in greenhouses and horticultural crops as part of biological control programs
