1010 male and female students apply for student unions elections at Ain Shams University

Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University and supervised by Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Supervising Student Union Elections, announced that 1010 students from various faculties of Ain Shams University have run for the student union elections marathon. This is as monitored by the Supreme Committee for Supervising Elections in coordination with the youth welfare departments of the various faculties of the university.

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud said that the initial lists of candidates will be announced next Sunday, after the legal review of all candidacy forms submitted by students wishing to run in the election race for the academic year 2020/2021.

He added that the university is monitoring the progress of the electoral process with an emphasis on the application of all necessary precautions, social distancing between students and wearing masks.

It is noteworthy that the Higher Committee for Supervising Student Union Elections for the current academic year begins its work headed by Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the membership of each of Prof. Karim Mostafa Al-Batouti, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Tamer Abdel-Moneim Rady, Professor at the Faculty of Commerce and liaison officer for the Committee and Prof. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ibrahim Hamza Saeed, Acting Director General of University Cities and Mr. Muhammad Ahmad Abd al-Malik, Acting Director General of Legal Affairs, and Muhammad Fattouh Muhammad Metwally, a student in the third division of the Faculty of Law, and Hager Ibrahim Muhammad Abdel-Al, a student in the third division of the Faculty of Law.
