Research Master’s in Agricultural Sciences (Marketing & International Trade Program)

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from an Egyptian university or an equivalent degree recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. The overall grade must be at least “Good”, with no less than “Very Good” in specialization courses. The bachelor’s degree must not have been obtained more than 15 years prior to application.

Program Advantages:
• Addresses issues of economic and agricultural development, food and agricultural policies, and agricultural economics. It also focuses on feasibility studies for agricultural projects, agricultural business management, and the sustainable utilization of limited agricultural resources, as well as challenges related to climate change. These studies are particularly important in addressing regional challenges such as population growth, increasing food demand, water scarcity, unfavorable climatic conditions, and geopolitical and security risks affecting the Arab region.
• The program features a strong and updated curriculum aligned with modern developments in agricultural economics and promotes interdisciplinary studies with other departments within the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Environmental Studies at Ain Shams University. It includes a distinguished group of faculty members with diverse experience in teaching, research, and international and local consulting.
• It is among the leading programs in Arab universities in its field. It also supports interdisciplinary collaboration across different faculties to better connect the program with societal needs and development plans.
• Responds to the growing societal demand for professionals capable of understanding markets for agricultural resources and related industries (such as fertilizers, plant nutrients, seeds, and pesticides), and managing them effectively.
• Develops students’ skills in modern information systems, data collection, analysis, and the preparation of specialized scientific reports, preparing them effectively for the labor market.
