The president and vice president of the university participate in a seminar on digital transformation in Egyptian universities

QS International Classification Organization, in cooperation with the Coursera Foundation for Distance Learning Platforms, held a symposium on digital transformation in Egyptian universities and its impact on education in light of the current global situation. The symposium was attended by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel Aal, Director of the Education Development Department, with a group of presidents and vice-presidents of Egyptian public and private universities and experts in the field of university education around the world.

As the symposium reviewed the efforts of Ain Shams University to develop university education and apply hybrid learning on the basis, standards and controls set by the Department of Education Development at the university, as Ain Shams University has an integrated system for managing e-learning and question banks and electronic tests.

In the interest of the university administration to qualify faculty members and students to deal efficiently in the virtual learning environment, the Education Development Department developed an integrated plan for continuous academic and technical training and support in cooperation with major international institutions in this field, taking into consideration providing students with the necessary skills to adapt to the distance learning environment from University priorities in the current stage.
