Admission Requirements

1- Hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from an Egyptian university or an equivalent recognized qualification, with a minimum overall grade of Good.

2- Hold the qualifying Postgraduate Diploma required for admission to the Master's Degree in Intellectual Property.

3- Obtain a TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 450, issued by the University's Public Service Center.

4- Successfully complete the Scientific Writing and International Publishing training courses offered by the International Publishing and Human Development Unit (IHUP).

5- Present a seminar in the field of specialization in which the applicant wishes to enroll.

After obtaining the Qualifying Diploma in Intellectual Property.

From one year up to a maximum of three years.

1- Advanced Knowledge and Understanding: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the general theories of Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), the principles of Islamic legislation (Usul al-Fiqh), and the philosophy of statutory laws in comparison with Islamic law and other legal systems.

2- Intellectual Skills: Apply juristic reasoning (ijtihad), conduct systematic comparative analysis between the schools of Islamic jurisprudence and positive law, and critically examine emerging legal issues and contemporary transactions.

3- Professional and Practical Skills: Formulate Sharia-compliant and legally sound solutions to contemporary issues based on the theory of public interest and the principles governing ijtihad.

4- General and Research Skills: Conduct advanced scholarly research in Islamic jurisprudence and its principles through active participation in research seminars, academic discussions, and oral presentations.
