Admission Requirements

The applicant must hold a Master’s degree from the Department of Medical Studies for Children at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, in the same specialization they wish to register in, with at least a “Good” grade or a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of at least 2.33 (for credit-hour systems).

Applicants holding a Master’s degree from outside the faculty may also be accepted for registration in the PhD program in the Department of Medical Studies for Children, provided they hold a Master’s degree in Pediatrics, Genetics, Psychiatry, or Public Health from Egyptian universities or equivalent degrees approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, with at least a “Good” grade or CGPA of at least 2.33. The number of admitted students is determined annually by the department.
