Master of Arts in Tourism Guidance
2026-06-25Admission Requirements
1-The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, or a Bachelor’s degree, Licentiate degree, or Diploma in Tourism Guidance from one of the equivalent academic departments in Tourism and Hotel Management faculties or institutes at Egyptian universities recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.
2-The student must successfully pass the preparatory stage of the master’s program in Tourism Guidance.
3-Obtaining an English proficiency certificate such as TOEFL or IELTS, or a French certificate such as DELF, or an equivalent qualification in other foreign languages is a requirement for registration for the Master’s degree.
4-The student must comply with all academic ethics, research ethics, and general conduct rules during study.
Target Group:
Egyptians – International Students
Program Duration:
One preparatory year, followed by thesis preparation with a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 5 years.
Application Period:
From the beginning of August until the end of the second week of the academic year.
Credit Hours: 12 credit hours
Program Advantages
•The program is taught in a foreign language for all courses.
•It prepares students to conduct specialized research in Tourism Guidance through studying subjects related to various branches of archaeology, history, and the civilization of Ancient Egypt across different historical periods.

•Strong understanding of scientific research methodology.
•In-depth knowledge of different historical periods of Egypt and the ability to read historical texts in the language of ancient civilizations.
Note:
•Foreign nationals are not permitted to work in the tourism guidance profession according to Egyptian law.
