Ain Shams University won 6 participations in the translation competition among graduate students entitled "Translation for University Youth", which is being organized within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Culture, under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, under the slogan "Translate ...Create. "

Ain Shams University participated in this competition, under the patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of the University, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of Faculty of Al-Alsun, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and University Coordinator for the competition

Ain Shams University participated in the competition with fourteen teams from fourteen departments from the language departments of the Faculties of Al-Alsun, Arts, Girls and Education, and each team was supervised by a faculty member from among the translation professors in the four faculties.

After the National Center for Translation announced the results of the competition, Ain Shams University obtained six awards in the competition, which is the highest percentage of victory among the participating universities, and the language departments from which the books nominated for translation won in the competition are as follows: English, French, Russian, Korean, Farsi, and Swahili.

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of Faculty of Al-Alsun, said that Ain Shams University's winning of the largest participation in the competition is a reflection of the university's leadership at the level of languages and translation, especially within Faculty of Al-Alsun, which alone was represented by four participations in the competition.
