Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from an Egyptian university recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities in the relevant field of specialization, with a minimum grade of Good.

Applicants must successfully pass the personal interview.

Maximum: 5 years

Applications are accepted from the beginning of August until the end of the second week of the academic year.

Skills Acquired by Graduates

(1) Develop advanced linguistic proficiency in Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, Latin, and Italian, including reading, writing, and translation skills.

(2) Acquire the ability to critically analyze and interpret historical and literary texts within their cultural and civilizational contexts.

(3) Apply scientific research methodologies in the preparation of specialized studies and academic research.

(4) Develop specialized translation skills between ancient and modern European languages and Arabic.

(5) Gain the ability to work with and critically analyze original primary and secondary sources.

(6) Utilize modern technologies and digital databases in academic research.

(7) Strengthen the ability to connect historical developments with contemporary issues through civilizational studies.

(8) Develop scholarly communication skills and produce academic research according to recognized academic standards.

(9) Enhance both independent and collaborative research capabilities.

(10) Acquire critical and systematic thinking skills for addressing and analyzing academic and scientific issues.
