Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a master’s degree in computer and information sciences with a specialization in Bioinformatics.

Target Group

Egyptian and International Students.

Program Duration

One year of PhD preparatory studies.

Minimum duration for obtaining the PhD degree: 3 years.

Maximum duration for obtaining the PhD degree: 5 years from the date of registration.

Application Periods

Applications for PhD preparatory studies are open during two periods each year:

First Period: February and March.

Second Period: September and October.

Credit Hours

15 Credit Hours (PhD Preparatory Coursework).

30 Credit Hours (Dissertation/Thesis).
