Graduate Competencies
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to:
•Understand the fundamentals of energy systems related to power generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption across various sectors, as well as the opportunities and limitations associated with renewable energy sources, including solar energy, wind energy, hydropower, geothermal energy, and biomass.
•Apply sustainability principles and practices, including energy efficiency, resource conservation, and environmental impact assessment.
•Integrate renewable energy technologies into existing energy infrastructure while considering technical, economic, and regulatory requirements. Graduates will also be able to analyze complex energy challenges, identify practical solutions, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
•Conduct applied research, evaluate emerging technologies, and develop innovative solutions that contribute to the advancement and deployment of renewable energy systems.
•Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders through professional written reports, presentations, and discussions.
