Admission Requirements

1-Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery from Egypt or an equivalent recognized qualification.

2-Applicants must have completed the internship year (housemanship) or acquired professional practice and training experience in medical centers or governmental hospitals.

3-Applicants must have obtained at least a Good grade in the bachelor's degree. Applicants with a Pass grade may be admitted provided they hold a postgraduate diploma.

4-All required documents must be submitted to the Dean of the Faculty within the period specified by the faculty regulations.

5-Applicants must comply with the rules and regulations of the International Students Administration at the University.


Target Group: International students

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from Egyptian universities or equivalent degrees recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities

Program Duration

•Academic Track: 3 standard years + up to 2 extension years.

•Clinical Track: 2 standard years + up to 2 extension years.

Application Period

Applications are accepted from June to October through the Study in Egypt platform.

Credit Hours: 

Academic track: 70 credit hours (comprising 50 coursework credit hours and 20 credit hours allocated to the thesis).

Clinical track: 50 coursework credit hours only.


Program Advantages:

The program offers intensive training through two integrated phases:

Pre-Clinical Phase: Students receive comprehensive training designed to develop both fundamental and advanced competencies in Conservative and Restorative Dentistry, as well as Esthetic Dentistry.

Clinical Phase: Students acquire proficiency in the diagnosis and management of complex carious lesions and gain expertise in restorative and esthetic rehabilitation of teeth using the latest minimally invasive materials and techniques. The program also strengthens evidence-based clinical decision-making skills.

The curriculum ensures a balanced integration of theoretical knowledge and practical training while maintaining the highest standards of academic quality and professional practice.


Graduate Competencies

•The program prepares graduates for advanced practice in restorative dentistry, with a particular focus on adhesive and esthetic dentistry, direct and indirect restorations, minimally invasive treatment approaches, and occlusal management.

•Graduates will also develop proficiency in the application of modern dental technologies, including digital imaging, CAD/CAM systems, three-dimensional scanning technologies, and contemporary restorative materials.

•In addition to the above competencies, the Academic Track requires the completion of a research thesis designed to enhance scientific research skills and evidence-based practice while fostering analytical thinking and critical evaluation abilities.
