Master’s Program in Periodontology (Academic–Clinical Track) – International Students
2026-07-01Admission Requirements
1- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from Egypt or an equivalent degree.
2- Completion of the internship year or documented professional practice and training in medical centers or governmental hospitals is required.
3- A minimum grade of “Good” in the bachelor’s degree is required, or “Pass” provided that the applicant holds a Postgraduate Diploma.
4- Submission of all required documents addressed to the Dean of the Faculty within the period specified in the regulations.
5- Compliance with the regulations and admission procedures of the university’s International Students Administration.
Target Group: International students
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from Egyptian universities or equivalent degrees recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities
Program Duration
Academic track: 3 core years + 2 extension years
Clinical track: 2 core years + 2 extension years
Application Period
From June to October via the “Study in Egypt” platform
Credit Hours:
Academic track: 70 credit hours (comprising 50 coursework credit hours and 20 credit hours allocated to the thesis).
Clinical track: 50 coursework credit hours only.

Learning Outcomes
The program prepares graduates to achieve advanced competence in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases and peri-implant tissues. Graduates are trained to actively participate in multidisciplinary clinical teams managing complex oral health cases and to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care across various clinical environments.
The academic track also includes the preparation of a research thesis aimed at developing scientific research skills and evidence-based practice, thereby enhancing analytical and critical thinking abilities among students.
