Ain Shams University discusses the future of the Middle East region ... Egypt's vision 2030

With the distinguished participation of a group of scholars and researchers from Egypt and a number of Arab countries, the activities of the first international conference on the Internet under the title "The Future of the Middle East - Egypt Vision 2030" was opened, which was organized by the Center for Middle East Research and Future Studies at Ain Shams University under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, The President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mu'nis, Director of the Center.

Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel-Hamid, Vice President for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, praised during a speech delivered on his behalf by Professor Ashraf Mu'nis for the pioneering role played by the Middle East Research Center in dealing with the most important issues of the day and sheds light on the most important problems in the Middle East, stressing the importance of the axes that It will be covered by the conference, which is expected to issue important recommendations. Attention should be paid to putting them into effect as much as possible and taking them into account when making decisions.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Moanis, Director of the Center, emphasized during his opening speech the importance of the conference at that time and the vital role that scholars and thinkers should play in order to advance their peoples.

During the two-day conference, which will last for two days, August 16/17, researchers discussed through four sessions the most important conspiracies that are being hatched against the interest of the Arab world and the most important challenges facing Arab countries at the present time and the plans and strategies they require to confront them now and in the future, which necessarily requires concerted efforts. All scholars are with decision-makers to advance our Arab societies and bring them to the highest ranks.

The first day of the conference was very successful and witnessed the participation of a distinguished constellation of scholars, researchers, and thinkers in various fields from Egypt and several Arab countries, including Iraq and Morocco.

The activities of the second day of the conference also witnessed two distinct sessions, with the participation of several intellectual and cultural men.
