An Exceptional Week at the Student Activities Festival…the Education and Student Affairs Sector Organizes a Special Recreational Day for Talented Students with Disabilities at Family Park

In a scene reflecting the commitment of Ain Shams University's Education and Student Affairs Sector to supporting students with disabilities, discovering their talents, and providing opportunities for them to express their abilities and actively participate in university life, the fourth week of the Student Activities Festival for the 2026/2027 academic year took on a distinctive character. The sector dedicated this week to organizing a special trip to Family Park for talented students with disabilities. For the third consecutive year, the sector has organized a dedicated trip for these students, reflecting its sustained commitment to providing recreational and meaningful experiences that promote their inclusion and nurture their talents.

This event represents a continuation of the approach adopted by Ain Shams University's Education and Student Affairs Sector, which goes beyond simply enabling students to participate in activities. It also involves organizing dedicated events and programs tailored to the interests of students with disabilities, offering them opportunities for interaction and enjoyment, strengthening their sense of belonging, and reaffirming that their empowerment and inclusion remain ongoing priorities within the university's student activities framework.

The Student Activities Festival is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with administrative coordination and supervision by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Samar Ragab, Director of the Disability Support Services Center.

It is worth noting that the Student Activities Festival is organized by Ain Shams University's Education and Student Affairs Sector in cooperation with the Clubs and Hotels Department of the Egyptian Armed Forces. The festival provides opportunities for approximately 2,500 students from university student societies, university dormitories, and students with disabilities to participate through five groups, with activities held on Fridays throughout October and November. This arrangement ensures diverse participation and enables as many students as possible to benefit from the program.

The trip features a variety of recreational and interactive activities, allowing students to enjoy a memorable day in an atmosphere of happiness and social engagement. These activities encourage the development of personal and social skills, foster cooperation and teamwork, and provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents and abilities while building new friendships in an inclusive and supportive environment.
