The event achieved exceptional success through the implementation of an "Open Recruitment Days" model, providing university graduates with direct opportunities to connect with major companies and participate in on-the-spot job interviews. This initiative represents an important step toward strengthening the connection between university education outcomes and labor market needs.
Throughout the event, the Career Center's headquarters at the University Dormitories witnessed extensive recruitment activities, with the participation of 16 leading companies operating in the engineering, technology, finance, business, and commerce sectors. The event attracted 443 graduates seeking employment opportunities, reflecting the University's ongoing efforts to provide effective platforms that enable young graduates to enter the labor market with competence and confidence.
In an achievement reflecting the efficiency of the organization and the effectiveness of the direct recruitment model, the event successfully organized and managed approximately 1,350 actual job interviews, resulting in a preliminary acceptance rate of approximately 40% of all interviews conducted.
Several candidates received more than one preliminary acceptance from different companies, reflecting the diversity of available opportunities and their suitability for graduates' skills and specializations. Meanwhile, the evaluation of the remaining candidates is ongoing, in preparation for completing the registration of acceptance results on the event's electronic platform.
The success of the fifth edition of ASU Career Week reaffirms Ain Shams University's leading role and the Career Center's contribution to supporting and preparing graduates and enhancing their integration into the labor market. This is achieved through an integrated system that combines high-quality employment opportunities, direct communication with employers, efficient organization, and the effective use of technology in recruitment processes.
