The Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University organized its First Dentistry Career Conference 2026 under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Karim Mostafa El-Batouty, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry; and Prof. Walaa Hamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The Conference was held as part of the faculty’s commitment to supporting its students and graduates and broadening their horizons by introducing them to diverse career opportunities and professional pathways.

The Conference was attended by Prof. Dalia El-Qurashi, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Reham Magdy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Ola Mohamed Sadeq, Director of the Career Development and Employment Center at Ain Shams University. It also brought together a distinguished group of experts and specialists, along with faculty members, dental interns, students, and graduates from various universities.

The Conference also featured the participation of several companies and institutions specializing in dentistry, including Dental Express, PuraCare, IMECO (International Medical Equipment Co.), Nile Dental, KMC, and TDS – The Dental Store. These companies maintained a presence alongside the conference activities, offering a range of employment and career opportunities to students and graduates.

This participation provided attendees with valuable opportunities to engage directly with industry representatives, explore available career prospects, and gain insights into labor market requirements, thereby strengthening the connection between academic education and professional practice.

The Conference reflects the faculty’s belief that the role of an academic institution extends beyond providing education and knowledge to preparing graduates who are aware of their capabilities, recognize the opportunities available to them, and possess the skills needed to compete and advance in the job market. This is achieved by exposing students and graduates to diverse career pathways, facilitating engagement with experts and specialists, and encouraging the development of professional networks.

At the conclusion of the conference, the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to all speakers, attendees, faculty members, and everyone who contributed to organizing the event and ensuring its success in a manner befitting the faculty’s standing.
