Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Ain Shams University announces the start of postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Mass Communication, marking another step in the university’s ongoing development of education and scientific research. This follows the issuance of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Decision No. 2088 of 2026, dated September 10, 2026, authorizing the start of postgraduate studies leading to a master’s degree in mass communication at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Ain Shams University, beginning in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, congratulated the Faculty of Mass Communication on the launch of its postgraduate studies. She emphasized that this milestone marks a significant addition to the development of the Faculty of Mass Communication, the newest faculty at the prestigious Ain Shams University, and represents another step toward supporting scientific research and providing advanced academic opportunities for researchers and specialists in media and communication.

Prof. Heba Shaheen, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, also expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to the university administration and the Postgraduate Studies Sector for their continued support. She stressed that the launch of the Master’s Degree programs is the result of ongoing efforts to develop media education and scientific research. It also reflects the faculty’s commitment to offering advanced academic programs that keep pace with the rapid changes in the media industry through its modern programs: Digital Journalism, Audio-Visual Communication, and Corporate Communication and Advertising.
