The Ain Shams University delegation departed this morning to participate in the 14th Egyptian Universities Youth Week, hosted by Minia University from September 25 to 30, 2026, under the slogan “From the Heart of Upper Egypt, We Create,” with student delegations from universities across Egypt.

The participation of Ain Shams University’s Education and Student Affairs Sector is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

The University delegation is participating under the general supervision and administrative coordination of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, while Prof. Yehia Mostafa, Professor at the Faculty of Specific Education, serves as the University Coordinator for the Egyptian Universities Youth Week.

Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the General Administration of Youth Welfare team, headed by Ms. Asmaa Khater, Acting Director General, as well as the department directors, in recognition of their considerable efforts in preparing and organizing the University’s participation in the 14th Egyptian Universities Youth Week. He emphasized that these preparations reflect the Sector’s commitment to ensuring a distinguished representation of Ain Shams University befitting its prestigious standing and leadership.

He also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Yehia Mostafa for volunteering to head the Ain Shams University delegation participating in the week and for his continued support of students as a professor specializing in fine arts. This comes at the beginning of the new academic year, with its accompanying academic responsibilities and commitments. He stressed that Prof. Mostafa’s acceptance of this responsibility reflects his dedication to supporting the University’s students throughout their participation in various activities.

Ain Shams University students will compete and participate in a wide range of sports, cultural, artistic, social, scientific, and scouting activities, providing them with opportunities to showcase their talents and creativity, develop their skills and capabilities, and foster teamwork and positive competition.

The Egyptian Universities Youth Week is one of the most prominent youth and student gatherings across Egyptian universities. It provides a platform for competition, exchange of experiences, and interaction among students, while its activities help strengthen communication and connections among university youth and promote the values of cooperation, belonging, participation, and responsibility.
