Continuing Ain Shams University’s journey of excellence and academic accreditation, the Faculty of Dentistry has achieved another milestone with the renewal of its institutional accreditation by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), along with the accreditation of two bachelor’s programs: Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, and Clinical Dentistry.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, affirmed that this achievement reflects the University’s unwavering commitment to developing academic, educational, and training performance across its faculties and its continuous efforts to apply the highest standards of quality and accreditation. He noted that these efforts contribute to enhancing the educational process, strengthening the competitiveness of graduates and academic outcomes, and consolidating the University’s academic standing at both the national and international levels.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen extended his sincere congratulations to Prof. Karim El-Batouty, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry; the Faculty’s Vice Deans; faculty staff and teaching assistants; administrative staff; and students on this achievement. He emphasized that the renewal of institutional accreditation and the accreditation of the academic programs represent another addition to the faculty’s record of accomplishments and reflect its continuous efforts to advance the quality of education, scientific research, and community service.

For his part, Prof. Karim El-Batouty, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, affirmed that the renewal of institutional accreditation and the accreditation of the two academic programs are the result of integrated institutional efforts and constructive cooperation among all sectors of the Faculty, including faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and students. He noted that this achievement reflects the faculty’s continued commitment to implementing quality standards and enhancing its educational and academic processes, in line with the University’s vision of achieving excellence and sustainable development.
