Ain Shams University achieved another milestone at the 12th African University Games “Cairo 2026,” as athlete Hamed Sayed Amin secured second place and the silver medal in the 200-meter race in the para-athletics competitions for students with disabilities.

This achievement comes as part of Ain Shams University’s participation in the 12th African University Games “Cairo 2026,” represented by the Education and Student Affairs Sector and the General Administration of Youth Welfare – Sports Activities Department, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with the coordination and administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector.

This achievement reflects the University’s strong commitment to supporting students with disabilities, providing them with an inclusive and supportive environment, and empowering them to participate actively in various sports activities, thereby helping them to discover their talents, develop their abilities, and fulfill their sporting ambitions.
