Ain Shams University Volleyball Team Concludes Its “Cairo 2026” Campaign in Fourth Place
The Ain Shams University volleyball team concluded its participation in the 12th African University Games “Cairo 2026” in fourth place, following a competitive campaign marked by strong performances and impressive matches against several participating universities.
The volleyball team’s participation came as part of Ain Shams University’s extensive participation in the Games, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with the coordination and administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector.
The team participated under the umbrella of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, General Administration of Youth Welfare, Sports Activities Department, as part of the University’s commitment to supporting sports activities, discovering and nurturing student talent, and providing students with opportunities to participate in various sporting events.
