Ain Shams University continued its outstanding performance at the 12th African University Games “Cairo 2026,” adding another medal to its tally after athlete Ali Salah El-Din Mohamed El-Yamani secured third place and the bronze medal in the Individual Kata Karate competition.

This achievement further highlights the strong presence of Ain Shams University students in the Games and their outstanding athletic performance, reflecting the level of preparation and training they have undergone, as well as their determination and competitive spirit, which have contributed to achieving remarkable results and reaching the podium.

The achievement comes as part of Ain Shams University’s participation, represented by the Education and Student Affairs Sector and the General Administration of Youth Welfare – Sports Activity Department, in the 12th African University Games “Cairo 2026,” under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with administrative coordination and supervision by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector.
