Ain Shams University Wins Gold and First Place in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity at the Second Scientific Forum of Egyptian Universities at Tanta University
Ain Shams University’s team won the gold medal and first place in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity during its participation in the Second Scientific and Technical Forum of Egyptian Universities 2026, hosted by Tanta University from September 11 to 14.
Ain Shams University participated through the Education and Student Affairs Sector – General Administration of Youth Welfare, Scientific and Technological Activity Department, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with administrative coordination and supervision by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and under the supervision of Ms. Asmaa Ali Khater, Acting Director General of the University’s General Administration of Youth Welfare.
The Ain Shams University team that secured first place comprised students Ibrahim Mohamed Ibrahim and Ahmed Hussein Sultan from the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences.
The judging panel praised the team’s outstanding performance and the technical content it presented in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. The team crowned its participation by winning the gold medal and first place, adding a new achievement to Ain Shams University’s record in scientific and technological competitions among Egyptian universities.
