Ain Shams University Shines in Badminton Competitions at the 12th African University Games, “Cairo 2026.”
Ain Shams University delivered an outstanding performance in the badminton competitions of the 12th African University Games “Cairo 2026,” securing three consecutive victories on the first day of competition.
The results were as follows:
🥇 Ain Shams University 3–2 Ghana
🥇 Ain Shams University 5–0 Kenya
🥇 Ain Shams University 4–1 American University
The Ain Shams University team continues its competitions today, aiming to secure further victories and proudly represent the University on the African sporting stage.
The University is participating in the 12th African University Games “Cairo 2026” through the Education and Students Sector – General Administration of Youth Welfare, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
The University’s participation is coordinated and administratively supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Education and Student Affairs.
