The meeting highlighted the significance of the diploma as the first specialized professional diploma of its kind among Egyptian and Arab universities in the field of quality systems management and accreditation in educational institutions. The program aims to prepare and qualify specialized professionals capable of effectively and efficiently implementing and managing quality assurance and accreditation systems across higher and pre-university educational institutions.
Discussions also focused on updating the academic content of the courses in accordance with the latest institutional and program accreditation standards and the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), alongside international ISO quality management systems and institutional and government excellence practices. The Board also reviewed a plan to attract the diploma’s target groups by encouraging and nominating faculty members and administrative staff from across the University’s faculties to enroll in the program. The plan also seeks to expand outreach to specialists and professionals interested in quality assurance and accreditation from outside the University, supported by a media and marketing strategy to raise awareness of the program and its benefits.
