The Faculty of Agriculture participated in the Alamein International Agricultural Exhibition 2026 in New Alamein

The Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University had a distinguished presence at the ALAMEIN AGRIC EXPO 2026, held at the Conference and Exhibition Center in New Alamein City from August 24 to 26, reaffirming its leading role in supporting agricultural development and promoting integration between education, scientific research, and the agricultural production and investment sectors.

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Walaa Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Ahmed Abu El-Yazid Ahmed Abdel Hafez, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Manal Mubarak, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty's participation in the exhibition reflects its commitment to strengthening its presence at specialized events and fostering communication with institutions and companies operating in the agricultural sector. This participation contributes to the exchange of expertise and opens new avenues for cooperation and partnerships.

         
   
         

The exhibition was attended by Prof. Faisal Bayoumi, Director of New Programs, Dr. Mustafa Shaheen, Deputy Director of New Programs, Dr. Amani Nabil, Director of the UMS Unit, Dr. Safaa Abdullah, Deputy Director of the UMS Unit, Dr. Tartil Imam, Lecturer in the Horticulture Department, Dr. Asmaa Sharaf El-Din, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, Dr. Abeer Al-Attar, Director of the Dean's Office, Mr. Mustafa Mohamed Mustafa and Ms. Nada Sayed Hafez, Administrative Coordinators of New Programs, Mr. Mohamed Khalil, Deputy Head of the New Alamein Authority, in addition to a group of specialists in the agricultural sector, including experts, researchers, academics, and representatives of companies and institutions working in the fields of agriculture, animal production, agricultural technologies, and investment, as well as the participation of a number of research and academic bodies.

The exhibition features a range of Egyptian and Arab companies showcasing the latest agricultural technologies, solutions, and innovations, providing valuable opportunities for exchanging expertise and experiences, exploring areas of cooperation and partnerships, and learning about the latest trends in modern and sustainable agriculture.

The Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University has been participating since the exhibition's inception, making it the first agricultural faculty to participate in this international agricultural event. This reflects its commitment to strengthening its presence at specialized forums and aligning educational and scientific research outputs with the needs of the labor market and the rapid developments in the agricultural sector.

The event also features student participation through representatives from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, new programs, international students, the Student Union, and top-performing students from various college programs.
