Electronic coordination centers receive 900 students on the first day of the second phase of university admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and as part of the university's commitment to supporting high school students and providing them with educational and guidance services during the university admissions process, the electronic coordination labs at Ain Shams University received approximately 900 male and female high school graduates (both those following the old and new systems) on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. These students were applying for the second phase of university admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The electronic coordination labs operate under the supervision of the Education and Student Affairs sector, through Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Ms. Reham El-Ateify, Director General of the General Administration for Education and Student Affairs, with the participation of specialized teams who ensured the smooth operation of the process and provided technical and guidance support to students and their parents throughout the coordination period.

The university's electronic coordination labs witnessed a high turnout from high school graduates in both the science and arts tracks. The labs received approximately 900 students across 16 coordination centers equipped with more than 340 computers, distributed among several university faculties.

The electronic coordination labs are located in the Faculties of Computer and Information Sciences and Arts on the main campus in Abbassia, the Faculty of Engineering in the Abdo Pasha area, the Faculty of Agriculture in Shubra El-Kheima, and the Faculty of Girls in Heliopolis. Additionally, labs equipped to accommodate students with disabilities are available in the Faculties of Arts and Computers and Information, ensuring that coordination services are accessible to all students and providing a suitable environment for completing their procedures easily and conveniently.

The university has also dedicated a lab to answer inquiries from high school graduates from this year's graduating class and previous years. A specialized team in university admissions and transfers is available to provide students with the necessary support and guidance, and to address their questions regarding admissions and transfer procedures and regulations.

Ain Shams University affirmed its continued efforts to provide all possible support to students throughout the various stages of the admissions process, facilitating the application process and enabling students to select their preferred programs in accordance with the established rules and regulations.

The second phase of the admissions process is scheduled to continue until Sunday, August 16, 2026, for a period of five days, according to the timetable approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
