In a new global achievement added to Ain Shams University's record of excellence, the Faculty of Engineering's racing team secured first place globally in the Artificial Intelligence category, specifically in the Driverless AI track, at the Formula Student International competition held at the renowned Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom. The team also won the Overall Static Events Winner award. Furthermore, the team achieved other outstanding results in the Formula AI competition, securing:

- Second place – Simulation: Simulating system performance and driving.

- Second place – System Design: Evaluating engineering design and development methodology.

- Second place – BLC: Evaluating the business plan and commercial feasibility of the project.

- Fourth place overall in the competition.

This achievement underscores their leadership among the top participating university teams from around the world.

This achievement comes under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Amr Shaat, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, reflecting the university's commitment to supporting innovation and scientific excellence, and empowering its students to compete internationally.

The victory followed a strong competition with dozens of international university teams. The Ain Shams University racing team successfully presented a comprehensive engineering project that utilized artificial intelligence technologies to develop autonomous vehicle systems, in addition to achieving outstanding performance in static evaluations that assess the engineering, design, administrative, and economic aspects of the project.

This achievement reflects the advanced scientific and research level attained by the students of the Faculty of Engineering, and their ability to design and develop software solutions and intelligent systems according to the latest international standards, keeping pace with the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence and the automotive industry.
