Ain Shams University Holds faculty -Level Selections for the National Reading Project Amidst Outstanding Student Participation

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Abdel Moneim Zaki, General Coordinator of the National Reading Project at Ain Shams University, the university's faculty -level qualifying rounds for the National Reading Project were held in the Student Activities Hall at the General Administration for Youth Welfare. This initiative reflects the university's commitment to supporting culture and enhancing reading and knowledge skills among its students.

         
   
         

The qualifying rounds witnessed outstanding participation from students across the university's various faculties, who presented exemplary models that reflected their cultural awareness, extensive knowledge, and exceptional presentation and discussion skills, thus confirming the success of efforts to promote a culture of reading among university students.

Prof. Abdel Moneim Zaki praised the high level shown by the students during the qualifiers, stressing that the competition was characterized by strength and excellence, and that all participants presented a performance that reflects their genuine interest in reading and building a scientific and cultural personality. He wished the qualified students success in the next stages, and that they would represent Ain Shams University in a manner befitting its academic standing, which reflected the efforts made by the project coordinators in the faculties, under the administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Students Sector, and the supervision and implementation of Ms. Asmaa Khater, Director General of Youth Welfare at the University, and the Cultural Activity Department in the General Administration of Youth Welfare.

         
   
         

These qualifying rounds are part of Ain Shams University's preparations to participate in the final stages of the National Reading Project, which aims to instill a culture of reading, raise awareness, and refine students' thinking and creative skills, thus contributing to the development of a conscious and educated generation capable of contributing to building the new republic.
