The Faculty of Girls at Ain Shams University announces the opening of applications for its distinguished postgraduate programs for the 2026 academic year, including Master's, Doctoral, and Postgraduate Diploma programs.

Committed to academic excellence, the Faculty is dedicated to preparing highly qualified female researchers and academics capable of meeting the evolving demands of sustainable development and the competitive job market. Through a sophisticated academic system that combines high-quality education, rigorous scientific research, and practical training, the Faculty equips its graduates and researchers with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel both nationally and internationally.

Humanities and Social Sciences (The Faculty of Arts)

Philosophy: Distinguished master's programs in Islamic Philosophical Thought, Logic and Philosophy of Science, and Modern and Contemporary Philosophy, designed to cultivate critical thinking and advanced analytical skills.

Arabic Language and Literature (Master's & PhD): Specializations in Linguistic and Grammatical Studies and Literary and Critical Studies, with a strong emphasis on Digital Humanities, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.

Sociology (Master's & PhD): Specialized tracks in Sociology, Anthropology, Folklore, and Media Studies, preparing researchers in public opinion measurement, social policy development, and media content analysis.

Geography (Master's, PhD & Postgraduate Diploma): Programs in Physical Geography and Human Geography, in addition to an advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Geoinformatics, with a focus on satellite image processing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Education and Childhood Studies

Child Education:

Professional, advanced, and specialized postgraduate diplomas, as well as Master's and PhD programs in Child Education, designed for education specialists and graduates from other academic disciplines seeking to pursue a career in early childhood education.

Curricula and Teaching Methods:

General Diploma in Education: Offered through three specialized tracks, preparing graduates for distinguished careers in teaching.

Professional Diploma in Comprehensive Learning Activities (Tokkatsu – Japanese Education System): Delivered in partnership with Fukui University, Japan, this program prepares teachers to work in Egyptian-Japanese schools.

Graduates of these programs are qualified for a wide range of professional careers, including:

Academic and research positions at universities and research institutions.

Careers in media, journalism, and digital content creation.

Positions within surveying authorities, the Ministry of Planning, and organizations specializing in remote sensing and space sciences.

Teaching positions in public, private, international, and Egyptian-Japanese schools.
