Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Safaa Shehata, Dean of the Faculty of Education, the University has achieved a new milestone in international scholarly publishing. The Faculty of Education Journal in Humanities and Literary Studies (ISSN: 2356-9964), published by the faculty, has been officially selected by the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) for inclusion in the Arabic Citation Index (ARCI).
As part of this announcement, all issues of the journal published through 2025 have been made fully and officially available on Clarivate's Web of Science platform, one of the world's leading citation and indexing databases. Work is currently underway to upload and index newly published issues and research papers on an ongoing basis, ensuring the sustained international visibility of the University's distinguished academic output.
This international indexing reflects the University and Faculty's commitment to the highest standards of academic quality and rigorous peer review. It is expected to strengthen the global visibility and international ranking of Ain Shams University and the Faculty of Education, while making Arabic scholarly contributions more accessible to researchers worldwide. The inclusion will also enhance citation opportunities by enabling researchers to discover, access, and cite high-quality educational and humanities research published in the journal through a trusted global database. Furthermore, it supports academic digital transformation by leveraging the strategic partnership between the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and Clarivate to promote the internationalization of Egyptian scientific journals.
On this occasion, the faculty extended its sincere congratulations and appreciation to the Journal's Editorial Board, as well as to all researchers and scholars whose outstanding scientific contributions have helped elevate the journal to this prestigious international standing. The faculty also reaffirmed its commitment to providing continued support for scientific research and international publishing under the University's visionary leadership.
