This achievement is the culmination of a long journey of hard work and intensive preparation. The team underwent a continuous training program that lasted for six full months, which included training in preparing legal memoranda, drafting legal arguments and pleadings, and oral arguments according to the highest standards followed in international legal competitions.

The team's journey began with participation in the written legal memoranda stage, where the students submitted outstanding legal briefs that qualified them for the online oral rounds. These rounds witnessed fierce competition from a number of prestigious international universities, and the team achieved remarkable results, securing their place in the final round, which was held in person in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In the final match, the Ain Shams University Faculty of Law team faced the University of Antwerp team from Belgium, delivering an outstanding legal performance that reflected the high academic and technical level of the faculty's students, both in terms of the strength of their legal arguments and their advocacy skills in responding to the judges' inquiries.

The judges praised the high level of argumentation presented by the Egyptian team and the students' exceptional ability to present legal defenses, analyze facts, and professionally draw upon international legal principles.

The judges also expressed their deep admiration for the undergraduate students' performance, emphasizing that it reflected an academic and legal maturity exceeding expectations for this stage of their studies.

• Prof. Heimme Patches, Professor of Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

• Prof. Kathrine Dufresne, Professor of Law at the University of British Columbia.
