The Education and Student Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University achieved a new accomplishment added to its record of achievements during the activities of the fourteenth edition of the “Ibdaa 14” Festival for University Youth for the 2025/2026 academic year, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The Ain Shams University team succeeded in winning first place in the Group Folk Arts Competition (Non-Specialized), confirming its artistic excellence and strong ability to compete among the participating universities.

The university also achieved several distinguished individual awards in the Individual Folk Arts Competition (Non-Specialized), where Sabry Mohamed Sabry won the award for Best Movement Performer, while Monadel Antar Gomaa received the award for Best Choreography Designer.

In the same context, student Mohamed Ahmed Farag received the Special Jury Award for Best Movement Performer in the Individual Folk Arts Competition (Non-Specialized), providing further confirmation of the university students’ artistic excellence and creativity.

This achievement represents a true reflection of the support provided by the university’s Education and Student Affairs Sector for young talents, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

This distinguished appearance was supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, along with his team at the General Administration of Youth Welfare, including Ms. Asmaa Khater, General Director of the General Administration of Youth Welfare; Mr. Mostafa Eissa, Director of the Artistic Activities Department; and the Artistic Activities team at Youth Welfare, who provided all the necessary support to achieve this distinguished artistic level worthy of the name and history of Ain Shams University.
