Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Sciences (Genetics Program)

Admission Requirements:

Applicants must hold a Research Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university or an equivalent degree from another scientific institution recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. The period after obtaining the master’s degree must not exceed ten years. Applicants are required to enroll in the same specialization as their master’s degree within the same department. If applying from a different specialization, they must successfully complete at least 30 credit units from the master’s-level courses of the new specialization with a minimum GPA of 2.7 (Very Good), in addition to the PhD coursework.

Application Periods:

Applications are accepted twice a year:

-October Intake: From June to August each year.

-February Intake : From November to January each year.

Program Duration: Five years.

Credit Hours:Minimum: 54 credit hours, Maximum: 66 credit hours
