It has the following functions:

• Data collection, study, and study of the rates of business planning for community service and environmental development. Define the general objectives that ensure the university is connected to community service.
• Provide recommendations and suggestions that help to avoid the causes of shortcomings in the field of community service and environmental development.
• To take the necessary steps to implement the programs of applied research plans at the university: to determine their requirements and to provide the necessary facilities and facilities.
• Conducting researches and studies in the field of training, in cooperation with the concerned bodies concerned with community service and environmental development.
• Participate with the specialists in the development of training programs included in the plan of continuing training, conversion, vocational and technical.
• Prepare a card for each research that includes the research data, the procedures and reports received.
