International publication Award

In the Council of Studies held in March 2008:

- Financial bonuses up to LE 50,000 have been approved for faculty members who publish their research in international scientific journals.

- The value of the reward was determined according to the scientific sector of the research and the influence coefficient of the journal published by the impact factor research.

- The rules were as follows:

• Human and Social Sciences Sector:

A reward of LE 5000 is allocated for research published in international scientific journals in Western Europe and North America.

During the period from March 2008 to the end of 2009, the first and second installments were exchanged.

January-December 2008

During 2010, the third, fourth and fifth installments were exchanged.

• In the Council of Studies held in September 2010:

- Solutions have been developed to improve the mechanism of determining the international publication reward as follows:

- Research will be accepted for international publication award twice a year during January and July.

 - Research published in journals registered only in the database is evaluated. "ISI web of knowledge"

• The researcher will receive the form of the reward and fill out the data and return it again to the research department after being approved by the Dean of the Faculty.

- The value of the reward is calculated according to the criterion "Eigen factor score" is a quantitative and qualitative and not quantitative only as in the previous criterion "Impact factor" according to the following table:

* After studying the effect of applying the Eigen factor score compared to Impact Factor and found that its application is in the interest of researchers.
