Students of the Faculty of Dentistry Students – Ain Shams University visit to the Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Professor Dr. Rami Maher, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the guidance of Professor Dr. Kariem El-Battouty, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, the Students’ Union of the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University organized a field visit to Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357. The visit was held under the supervision of the Education and Student Affairs Sector and organized by the Youth Welfare Department at the Faculty of Dentistry.
The visit aimed to enhance students’ community awareness and introduce them to the hospital’s leading role in providing comprehensive medical care to children with cancer.
The program included an introductory tour inside the hospital, during which students were introduced to the various departments and medical services provided, in addition to learning about the importance of volunteer work and the vital role of psychological and emotional support for patients.
The students expressed their happiness with the visit, emphasizing that it was a rich humanitarian and educational experience that reflects the values of social solidarity and highlights the role of medical professionals in serving the community.
