Seminar on Fire Emergency Response and Building Evacuation at the Faculty of Dentistry
Under the patronage of Prof. Karim El Batouty, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Prof. Walaa Hamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty organized an awareness seminar on how to respond to fire emergencies and how to safely evacuate the building.
The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members, nursing staff, and administrative employees. It was delivered by Mr. Adel Abdel Latif, General Director of Civil Defense at the University, with the participation of Mr. Sherif El Sayad and Mr. Samir Farouk. The speakers reviewed essential safety procedures and how to handle various fire scenarios to ensure everyone’s safety.
Mr. Mohamed Hussein, Civil Defense Director at the Faculty, also attended the seminar and contributed to organizing the event and supervising the implementation of practical evacuation procedures within the Faculty.
This seminar comes as part of the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to enhance safety awareness and train staff and students on proper response during emergency situations.
