Seminar on Digital Transformation and Digital Archiving and Its Challenges at the Faculty of Dentistry
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Karim El Batouty, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and under the supervision of Prof. Walaa Hamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Dentistry organized a seminar entitled “Digital Transformation and Digital Archiving and Its Challenges.” The seminar was delivered by Prof. Ahmed El Awady, Director of the University’s Center of Excellence for Sustainability.
The seminar was held in the Computer Laboratory at the Faculty of Dentistry and addressed the importance of digital transformation and digital archiving in facilitating academic and administrative work, with a focus on the challenges facing the implementation of this transformation and ways to overcome them. It also emphasized the importance of raising awareness of the latest digital technologies to enhance the sustainability of the University’s information systems and to better serve the community.
The seminar further highlighted the role of the Center of Excellence for Sustainability in supporting projects and initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable development within the university environment through digital transformation.
This event reflects Ain Shams University’s ongoing commitment to developing its digital infrastructure and enhancing the capabilities of its staff to meet the challenges of the digital era in line with global advancements.
