Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, Professor Dr. Karim El-Batouty, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, inspected the practical examination for final-year students of the Clinical Dentistry program in the subject of "Comprehensive Dentistry." He was accompanied by Professor Dr. Dalia El-Korrashy, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The exam took place in the newly established computer lab, organized by Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Abu El-Sadat, Director of the Information Technology Unit, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ghada Abdel Fattah, the course coordinator.
This exam was organized in collaboration with Professor Dr. Reham Magdy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Walaa Hamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. It utilized a Computer-Based system, which links the exam to the computer, allowing for the exam to be conducted and corrected entirely by computer, without the need for paper questions or answer sheets. This approach supports sustainable development and environmental preservation.
This marks the first time such an exam has been held at the Faculty of Dentistry, aligning with the faculty's plan to support digital transformation and enhance the capabilities of its human resources. This initiative is in line with the latest developments in modern technology within the academic and medical fields.
Professor Dr. Karim El-Batouty commended the efforts of the teams responsible for preparing the lab and organizing the exam. He emphasized that the faculty is making steady progress towards developing the educational process and providing an advanced technological environment that supports the quality of training and evaluation.
