The Public Health team and internship dentists from the Faculty of Dentistry visited El-Demerdash Children’s Hospital and attended the “Sharyan Al-Ataa” seminar. The seminar aimed to promote the importance of blood donation in supporting those in need, particularly children suffering from thalassemia.
The team began by educating children and their families on proper toothbrushing techniques and oral hygiene practices, using a dental model for demonstration.
They also provided guidance on proper nutrition and its importance in maintaining oral and dental health.
In addition, toothbrushes and toothpaste were distributed, along with oral mouthwash to the participants.
