launching of Ain Shams University's comprehensive development convoy in Fayoum Governorate

Within the framework of the presidential initiative “A degnified life”, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ansari and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, a comprehensive development convoy was launched this morning, Thursday, to serve the people of the village of Al-Basyouniya, Fayoum Center, Fayoum Governorate.

Where the convoy provides its various services in the fields of health and literacy through the faculties of medicine, dentistry, nursing and the adult education centre at the university, headed by Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr.. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and a. Dr.. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and general supervision of Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, under the supervision of Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

The convoy provides its medical services free of charge in the specialties of general surgery, women, ophthalmology, internal medicine, brain and nerves, nose and ear, dermatology, children, orthopaedics, heart, in addition to the convoy pharmacy for free treatment.

This is in addition to literacy classes in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education headed by Prof. Dr. Ashour El-omry
