The Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, organized the Welcome Day & Diversity Day for the 2026–2027 academic year, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Karim El-Batouty, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Reham Magdy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, in collaboration with the Student Union and the Youth Welfare Department.
The cultural activities for international students were supervised by Dr. Reem El-Tanany, Director of the International Students Unit, and Dr. Samuel Ashraf, Coordinator of the Unit for International Credit-Hour Students.
The event featured a variety of recreational and creative activities, including basketball, speedball, interactive games, PlayStation, a photo booth, and pottery painting. Sudanese and Indian students also showcased their rich cultural heritage through traditional costumes, handmade products, traditional food, cultural videos, and Indian sarees.
The event aimed to promote cultural diversity, strengthen student engagement, encourage friendship and cultural exchange, and foster an inclusive university community where all students feel welcomed, respected, and valued.
